*****Students are required to finish their "carte mentale" this weekend. They have started on for their "tout sur moi" project- the instruction sheet is also in their duotang for reference. Each aspect of the first paragraph is to be represented on their pre-writing/brainstorming "carte mentale". This work must be complete for Monday, as it is neccessary in order to begin the writing process.
Parents- thank you for your attention to this and your support in helping your son/daughter complete the work.l

Chers parents,
Students are encouraged to read and listen to French literature and media. In our efforts to aid participation in these activities, students will be required to complete a reading log and return it signed by their parent/guardian.
Please check with your son/daughter to read through the reading/listening requirements. Students must return completed/signed logs once they are full.

Chers parents,
It was a pleasure to meet each of the students yesterday and we are looking forward to "growing together" this year. Our Tribes Tree is representative of this goal, and as a class we will spend time each week getting to know each other, showing respect and kindness, and appreciating each other.
Please check your son/daughter's agenda each day for an update of what we did and learned that day. The students will write their entry in french and will be happy to translate it for you- they come up with these simple sentences themselves so that they understand them.
Since the agenda will be used daily, please feel free to use this as a means of communication with me. I will contact you as soon as I am able to discuss any questions or concerns you may have.
