Complete the Short Story Review Sheet in preparation for the unit test on Thursday, October 6, 2011.
Media Analysis of CD cover is due on Wednesay, October 12th. You can find the assignment in the Handouts and Documents folder on the left.
Unit 2: Novel Study - Speak
The Speak Formal Literary Essay will be the main assignment for this unit. There will also be reading questions, quizzes, and a group presentation activity.
-1/4 of novel read by: Friday, October 14th
-1/2 of novel read by: Friday, October 21st
-3/4 of novel read by: Wednesday, October 26th
-Novel finished by: Monday, October 31st
Unit 3: Shakespeare - Twelfth Night
This unit will mostly be completed in class. Students will be expected to read their INS for homework. There will be reading questions, quizzes/test, in addition to a newspaper article assignment.
Unit 4: INS
Book Club Groups meet every Thursday for 3 weeks. Have your novel notes filled in and be prepared to speak about your book.
